Mr. Makoto Murakami is not only the managing partner of the Murakami Law office LPC but also its founder. After graduating from the Tokyo Mercantile Marine University [presently the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology] Mr. Murakami spent the next three years at sea as an officer for
the company Shinwa Line before deciding to come ashore to pursue a career in the legal field. After obtaining his legal qualifications, he decided to establish the Murakami Law Office LPC and began working as a practicing marine lawyer. With extensive experience in the maritime field, and an illustrious legal career spanning more than 30 years, Mr. Murakami has not only engrave his name within the Japanese maritime and shipping sectors but has also indubitably cemented himself within the country’s maritime legal arena.
